Greetings LRSD Parents/Guardians,
We are pleased to inform you that we will begin accepting applications for TNTs (Transfer with No Transportation ) for the 25/26 school year from February 10th to February 14th. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on seat availability. Please note that TNT requests will not be accepted for magnet or specialty schools, which include:
- Carver/Washington Magnet
- Gibbs Magnet
- Williams Magnet
- Forest Heights STEM Academy
- Horace Mann Magnet
- Parkview Arts/Science Magnet
If a TNT request is approved, the student must attend the new school for at least one semester. Only one TNT will be granted per school year.
All Little Rock School District policies regarding tardiness and attendance must be followed, or the TNT may be revoked, and your child will be transferred back to his/her designated attendance zone school.
We recommend that parents research the following factors before considering a school transfer: school start times, uniform policies, CARE availability, etc.
Any applications received after the deadline will be voided. Approval decisions will be based on availability at the time of review.
Important Notes:
- Elementary: TNTs are not granted based on a P3/P4 assignment.
- Secondary: athletic eligibility may be affected for one calendar year.
If your student is not approved for a TNT, it means the school is at capacity for that specific grade. In such cases, your student will be placed on a waiting list for that school based on the order in which the TNT application was submitted. You will be notified once a seat becomes available.
