Stakeholders, Food deliveries from outside vendors like Grub Hub & Uber Eats are not permitted on the campus of PHMS. This constitutes a security concern since school staff & parents cannot verify the safety of the food being delivered by a complete stranger. Please remind your students not to invite outside vendors on the campus of PHMS. Delivery drivers will be asked to leave the school property. Any successfully delivered food will be confiscated with no compensation for willfully breaking LRSD & PHMS policy. Best Regards, Darryl James Powell

The administration of PHMS has become aware of threats of violence posted to various social media platforms. In response, we've corresponded with LRSD Safety & Security and the Little Rock Police Department. Both reported that there were unverifiable, unsubstantiated threats apparently involving rival factions made regarding a specific high school. There were also rumors of school violence at a local charter school. There have been no threats specific to PHMS. Please know that we'll continue to consider the safety of our staff and students as a top priority. Our policy is to transparently communicate regarding any potential issues at PHMS. We take all threats seriously and will continue take all steps necessary to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors. Chart paper reading: Sun-Shadow Mandalas. Ms. Mims's students represented themselved using symbolism and analogies. Each mandala represents a students "sun side (public self) and "shadow side" (private self).
