Out of an abundance of caution and after consultation with surrounding districts, LRSD’s Safety and Security team, First Student Transportation, and the National Weather Service, LRSD will dismiss schools and close offices early on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, due to impending inclement weather. Forecasters predict freezing/snow conditions moving into our area starting tomorrow afternoon.
Please note the early dismissal times Tuesday:
Elementary – 11:30 a.m. dismissal
Secondary (middle and high schools) – 12:30 p.m. dismissal
LRSD Offices Close at 1:00 p.m.
All athletic and afterschool events are also canceled. In making weather-related decisions, LRSD prioritizes the safety of students and staff. With the sometimes unpredictable nature of weather, please note that our plans may need to be adjusted according to any new developments. We will update you as soon as possible if that is the case. LRSD staff, please monitor your emails for additional instructions from our Human Resources Department.
