Good afternoon 5th grade parents,
One of our teachers had a medical emergency in the classroom this afternoon before dismissal. Other teachers and staff along with our counselor and myself removed the students from the class and into another room. We stayed with the students assisting them until dismissal time. Our focus was not only on the teacher but the students as well. Mrs. Shelton will be available next week as needed for our students. If you have any questions please call me at 501-447-2700.
Thank you,
Mrs., Kirkpatrick

Good afternoon Eagle Families,
Near dismissal time today we had a staff member who had a medical emergency. The emergency personnel were called. As the staff member was our top priority and the well-being of our students, we made the decision to delay the bell until the medical personal left campus. The school counselor and staff members assisted students as needed. I appreciate all the staff who pitched in and were there for our students. If you have any concerns or questions please reach out to me at 501-447-2700.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick

Correction:
Good afternoon , Forest Heights Parents, Because we value you as partners in your child’s education, and in the spirit of transparency, we wanted to make you aware of an incident that occurred this morning. One of our Middle School students brought a toy gun to school. The student said he accidently left it in his backpack and didn’t discover it until this morning when he got to class and gave it to the teacher. At no time did the student who brought the toy gun to school threaten anyone. The student will be disciplined according to our Student Code of Conduct. We are grateful the student realized it and gave it to the teacher. Please be assured that the safety of our students and staff is a priority for us at FHSA. It takes all of us working together to ensure safe schools, and I appreciate the support you provide daily. If you have questions, please feel free to contact our office. Sincerely, Barbara Kirkpatrick
