Get ready for LRSD's Back-to-School Vaccine Clinic! This vaccination event will help ensure your student is up-to-date on all required immunizations.
July 23rd, July 24th, and July 25th
from 8am to 6pm at

If you sign up for the 4 to 6 pm block, know that the clinic will close at 6pm. You will need to sign in by 5pm to get a vaccine that day. There will be a gift card drawing for those that show up to the event and get vaccinated. Please bring your vaccination record if from out of the state.

📚 Throughout the month of July, we're sharing reading tips to help you get ready for the new school year. The summer is a great time to get together with distant relatives, and it's always exciting when they come around to visit! Encourage your child to show off their newfound reading skills by reading to a relative or retelling a story from memory! 📖
Don't forget! Our 2024-2025 School Check-in is July 31st and August 1st from 10 am - 7 pm. Check-in is for all students (new, returning, or reenrolling). Come update your child's information, pick-up school supply lists, and complete forms for the upcoming school year. We are looking forward to another great school year!

School will start in just a few weeks! Beat the crowds and begin your school uniform shopping now. There are no changes for this year. Students may wear polos of any color. Unform bottoms allowed are khaki, navy, or jeans (not distressed or disturbed). Spirit shirts can be worn on Fridays. Hoodies should be of solid color (no design) or Chicot logo hoodies.

Reminder! In observance of Juneteenth, all schools and offices within the Little Rock School District are closed today. Enjoy this meaningful holiday!
CALS is giving away 100 free bikes and helmets TODAY hosted by Dee Brown Library, Recycle Bikes for Kids, and Little Rock Parks and Recreation.
Kids aged 16 years and under are invited to come to the Southwest Little Rock Community Center to receive a free bike. New helmets will be distributed courtesy of Arkansas Children's Hospital Safety Office.
They will also have a free bike parade and activities.
Bikes for the first 100 kids are first come, first served. The child receiving a bike must be present with an adult.
