The Museum of Discovery, in an effort to increase awareness of the eclipse on April 8, 2024, has two core objectives for sponsorship of your family night:

1. To promote safe eclipse viewing practices for the day of the eclipse.

2. Use the eclipse as a motivator for children to engage in STEM education.

With Entergy’s support, the Museum of Discovery will provide five Title 1 schools giving families and children an opportunity to engage in these experiences when normal operating hours and weekends may not be an option.

Cost of admission is free for the Family STEAM Nights.

*A pizza meal will be provided for 250 Baseline Academy guests from 5:30pm-6:30pm.

*Family Night events are scheduled from 6:00pm-8:00pm

* STEAM Lab will feature eclipse take home materials

The event will provide Baseline Academy guests with the tools and information to continue STEM engagement following the excitement of the April 8th total solar eclipse.

This event is closed to the public.
