The LR Central High Quiz Bowl team is the 7A AGQBA Central Region Champion! 🏆🐯 They went undefeated, averaging an impressive 352 points per game. Senior Jeffrey Robinson earned MVP honors with 20 points per game! Now, they’re headed to the 7A State Finals as the #1 seed on April 12. Let’s cheer them on as they go for the state title! 💛🖤

The Southwestern Region of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. donated $5,000 to Central High School’s Reading Club. During the donation event, students were excited to receive one of the books purchased by the donation and written by Little Rock Nine member Elizabeth Eckford. Ms. Eckford was on hand for the presentation. A special shoutout to the ladies of Sigma Gamma Rho and Ms. Eckford for making this an extra special event at LRCH!

They walked in the parade and hosted a booth to share information about the new Carver-Washington Magnet School opening next year. Families enjoyed a mini farmers market, free haircuts, and other resources during last weekend's Parent and Family Engagement event hosted by LRSD. Kaye Rainey and Beatriz Varela did an outstanding job organizing the event.
