What Support Is Provided in the Novice Teacher Program?

Tier 1 Support:

Our first tier of support is provided to all novice teachers. This level of support would be useful for any teacher to have for effective onboarding, monitoring, and growth of teacher effectiveness.

Novice Teacher Onboarding Binder
Novice Teacher Portal - access to resources 24/7, message boards to request help, support request form, and more!
Novice Teacher Portal Modules - required modules that ensure novice teachers meet the State's requirements for novices.
Building Lead Mentor - provides monthly Novice Teacher Support Sessions tailored to the needs of the novices in the school building.

Tier 2 Support:

Our second tier of support is accessible to and impactful for all novice teachers. This level of support is has specific targeted and focused needs based on the novices need identified by the teacher or building leader.

Afterschool Support Sessions - small group sessions held every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month on various topics ranging from content support, teaching practices, classroom management, organization, scaffolding, and more!
School Support Teacher - one-on-one support assigned by the building principal to provide a buddy teacher to provide guidance, support, and exemplar teaching models and practices.

Tier 3 Support:

Our third tier of support is targeted towards teachers in need of additional, specialized support and those who do not yet hold a standard teaching license in an effort to support, empower, and retain.

Licensure Support Group - for any teacher seeking standard licensure or needing to add additional licensure areas.
Afterschool Support Sessions - small group sessions can be specified by the building leader or assistant superintendents to address specific needs in a network, for a school building, or individual novice teacher.
