Exciting Projects

The state-of-the-art, 400,000 square-foot high school in southwest Little Rock — the district’s first new high school in 50 years — opened in 2020 to students zoned for McClellan and JA Fair. The 2,250-student campus includes an advanced 21st century learning environment and expanded career tech opportunities. LRSD's K-12 Ignite Digital Academy opens in 2021 for virtual learners.

Achieve Teams

Achieve Teams are a targeted, combined effort between school personnel, parents, special service staff and interventionists who work to provide additional support to students. We are also the state’s largest provider of public preschool programs.
