Previous LRSD Connections: Daughter (pre-K through 12th) graduated from Parkview High School. Past President of Chicot Elementary PTA. Served on LRSD Board of Directors, 2000-2006.

Education Information:  Anna received a master’s degree in public health from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, a master’s degree in public service from the Clinton School of Public Service, and a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Hendrix College.  She is a graduate of Searcy High School. 

Family Information: Anna, her husband Aaron, and their two young children live in Hillcrest.  Her children have attended LRSD schools, including Rockefeller Early Childhood Center, Fair Park Early Childhood, and Pulaski Heights Elementary. 

Previous LRSD Connections: Anna has been involved in LRSD advocacy since her children were young. She has served on the PTA at Rockefeller (secretary) and at Pulaski Heights (Garden Committee).  She has also partnered with LRSD professionally; in previous work positions, she helped launch health clinics at Stephens and Chicot Elementary Schools,  oversaw dental outreach that served several schools, and ensured that public health outreach efforts reached students and schools in need of support.  

Career/Professional: Anna is the Executive Director of the Arkansas Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  She has a long history of championing the well-being of children through policies and programs that reach statewide.

Education Information: Originally elected to LRSD Board in 2020. Hatter studied accounting in college and is trained in Sustainable Community Schools and Restorative Justice. She holds multiple certifications, including Professional Life Coach, Conflict Resolution, Group Facilitation, Professional Tax preparation, Emergency Management, HazMat Trainer, Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) Coach, and Community Engagement.

Family Information: Parent of two former Little Rock School District students.

Previous LRSD Connections:  Hatter is an Engagement/Compacity Builder Consultant who serves/served as a literacy tutor, parent volunteer in classrooms/schools,(ViPs) Parent, Youth and Education organizer/advocate, Trainer for Parent Leadership courses, Arkansas Scholars Trainer, School to Prison Pipeline Coach and Facilitator around literacy/parenting. She also served on the Children's Defense Fund (CDF) Summer Freedom School Board - Summer Literacy Program, PTA Boards, National PTA committees, and early childhood STEAM education board. Hatter created/co-created a parent engagement advisory board and grassroots community groups and collaborated on the Ford NGL (Next Generational Learning) Master framework for public schools.

Adjunct faculty with the UA-Little Rock Graduate School of Social Work. Clinical social worker for Youth Home, Inc. 1987-1991.
