Important Weather Update

Dear LRSD Families,

Following a thorough assessment of storm-related damage and consultation with Entergy and City of Little Rock Maintenance crews, the Little Rock School District has determined that all schools—with the exception of Western Hills Elementary—will reopen tomorrow. We understand this has been a challenging time for many in our community, and we truly appreciate your patience and resilience. Please know that Entergy is working diligently to restore power to Western Hills, and we will continue to provide updates as we receive them.

If you live in an area where roads are still blocked or impassable, and buses cannot safely reach your neighborhood, we kindly ask that you make alternate arrangements to get your child to and from school, if possible. All LRSD staff should plan to report to their assigned locations at the regular time, but are encouraged to prioritize safety when traveling. Please continue to monitor messages from LRSD for any updates or changes.
