Printing Requests
All printing requests must be submitted with a request form (Click here for PDF). Incomplete request forms or poor quality originals are subject to return, and thus delay job turnaround time. Due to large volumes of requests received, Print Shop staff encourage 7 -10 business days lead time. However, most jobs are returned within few days depending on production load. Large quantities or specialty printing requests may require additional time.
Originals
Originals can be submitted via email or sent in by school mail. Please do not scan in originals and email, they do not print out a good quality copy.
Proof Reading
Print Shop staff are not responsible for “proofing” materials submitted for printing, unless we do the typesetting (which has a fee). Reprinting, as a result of proofing errors, is expensive and creates delays. Please proof all materials prior to submitting them for production.
Copyright & Other Restrictions
The copyright law of the United States governs the making of reproductions or photocopies of copyrighted material. Copyright legislation is intended to provide incentives and to protect the financial interests of creative individuals by prohibiting others from copying or otherwise misusing their works. If found guilty of wilfully infringing a copyright for private or commercial financial gain, the penalty could be $10,000 or imprisonment for up to one year or both. Even when the motive for a violation is altruistic (for example, providing materials for students while saving taxpayer dollars), such noncompliance not only endangers the educational enterprise, but undermines the image commonly referred to in education laws as “teacher as exemplar.”
