Baseline

Baseline building photo

Baseline Elementary originally was constructed in 1958. The third and current facility was built in 1975. It is named for the street on which it is located. Baseline Road serves as a national mile marker for measurements and road maps. Baseline Elementary originally was a part of the Pulaski County Special School District; it was annexed by the Little Rock School District in 1987. An Alert Center, supported by the City of Little Rock and the Little Rock Police Department, is housed within the school. This added feature helps to guarantee the safety of students and staff as well as the surrounding neighborhood.
