LRSD Board Votes to Offer Dr. Jermall Wright Superintendent Contract

(April 28, 2022) - Following an executive session during its regular meeting on Thursday, April 28, 2022, the Little Rock School Board voted to offer Dr. Jermall Wright a contract for the LRSD superintendent's post- contingent upon approval/final clearance of Arkansas Educator Licensure requirements.
Wright is currently the superintendent of the Mississippi Achievement District.

Wright will succeed Superintendent Mike Poore who is retiring at the end of the 2022 school year. Poore has served as superintendent at LRSD for six years.
