Roberts Elementary is so proud of its students Vaibhav Kalluri, Eva Levi, Isabella Wisinger, Jada Davis and Hannah Delahoussay, who had nine of their original poems published in this year's Arkansas Anthology. This was a very exciting accomplishment for these five students, because students usually only have one poem published in the anthology at a time.
Having original work published in Arkansas Anthology gives students a sense of success and encourages them to continue writing and developing their literary skills. It also encourages their classmates to write and expand their vocabulary while writing.
The students were recognized at during the school's 5th grade promotion ceremony, where they were awarded copies of Arkansas Anthology containing their published work and special certificates.
