LRSD News

City Year, a non-profit organization, partners with a few LRSD schools each year to help work with students before, after and during the school day. This year, a new school involved in this partnership is Romine Elementary. The goal of this new partnership is to raise academic success by providing literacy and math interventions to help boost test scores and build a collaborative learning environment through positive programs and involve faculty, staff, students, parents and guardians.

City Year, Inc. is a national sponsor of outcome-based service projects focused on aiding schools, communities and student success in school and society as productive citizens.

Romine is very excited for this new and positive partnership which will help students achieve.
