Governor's All-Region & All-State Coding Competitions Announced at Hall

September 16, 2016—  Governor Asa Hutchinson announced the inaugural Governor's All-Region and All-State Coding Competition to an auditorium full of 11th grade students at Hall High School. Eight regional competitions will occur simultaneously across the state on Monday, November 7. Winners of the regional competitions will then compete at the state level for scholarships. Schools are permitted a specific number of teams based on enrollment and students compete in teams of three. Verizon is the sponsor for the prizes at the All-State Coding Competition.

1st Place: $2000/team member
2nd Place: $1500/team member
3rd Place: $500/team member

The 1st place team’s school will win a classroom set of iPads valued at $20,000.
